Travis Head backs Rohit and Virat for 2027 World Cup

Australia’s Travis Head believes that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are likely to play until the 2027 ODI World Cup, despite ongoing speculation about their futures. As India prepares for the three-match series against Australia, the BCCI made Shubman Gill the new ODI captain, removing Rohit from the leadership role. Head praised both players, calling Virat possibly the greatest white-ball player and Rohit one of the best openers.

Axar Patel also spoke highly of the duo, calling them world-class professionals ready for the series. He added that both players have been preparing well and are in good shape for the upcoming matches.
