Ukrainian crypto trader Konstantin Ganich found dead after market crash
Konstantin Ganich, a well-known Ukrainian crypto trader and blogger, was found dead from a gunshot wound, with Kiev authorities suspecting suicide. Police discovered his body in a car early Saturday, along with a firearm registered to him. Ganich had reportedly mentioned financial struggles and sent a farewell message to his family before his death.
Ganich, who lost up to $30 million during a major crypto market crash, was linked to influential clients, including unnamed Ukrainian officials. Some sources, however, raised doubts about the suicide theory, claiming he may have been blackmailed by law enforcement. The crash was triggered by US President Trump’s announcement of new tariffs on Chinese imports.
