VP Radhakrishnan meets Mongolian President in Delhi
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan met Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa in New Delhi on Tuesday to discuss various aspects of bilateral relations. Radhakrishnan shared on X that he was delighted to meet the visiting Mongolian leader and that their talks covered multiple topics of mutual interest.
Earlier, President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House. The two leaders focused on deepening defense and security ties, trade, investment, development cooperation, and spiritual and cultural connections. They also released a postal stamp marking 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
In a symbolic gesture, the leaders planted a sapling together as part of India’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative and Mongolia’s One Billion Trees campaign. This visit marks President Khurelsukh’s first trip to India since taking office.
