Zanu-PF walkathon plants trees from Harare to Mutare for People’s Conference

Zanu-PF members on a 263 km walkathon from Harare to Mutare made a stop in Marondera, Mashonaland East, to plant trees. The group, led by the party’s Environment and Tourism Department, planted trees in Marondera and Macheke, after already doing so in Goromonzi. Advocate Itayi Ndudzo praised the walkers for beautifying the province and protecting the environment. Deputy Secretary for Environment and Tourism, Cde Brian Tembo, emphasized the importance of preserving nature and thanked the people of Mashonaland East for their support. The walkathon will continue until they reach Mutare for the People’s Conference on Thursday.
