90 injured in head-on train collision in eastern Slovakia
In eastern Slovakia, more than 90 people were injured when two passenger trains collided head-on near the village of Jablonov nad Turňou. The crash, which occurred around 10 a.m. on Monday, left at least seven people seriously injured.
Rescue crews worked tirelessly to free passengers and provide medical aid, with 91 people assessed at the scene. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. Injuries ranged from serious to minor, with all passengers and crew safely rescued. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
