Aditi Rao Hydari cuddles with dogs on Sundays
Aditi Rao Hydari spent time on Sunday at a pet cafe with rescued dogs and praised animal welfare advocates through social media posts. The Heeramandi star criticized people who abandon or mistreat animals while thanking rescue organizations for their work with the pets.
The actress previously discussed her family’s connection to Wanaparthy sarees from Telangana. Her grandfather, Raja J Rameshwar Rao, supported local weavers by commissioning traditional designs and helping preserve the craft. Pathani weavers had originally settled in the kingdom under royal patronage.
Hydari recalled a black asharfi saree owned by her grandmother that was inspired by a Ravi Varma painting. Designer Sabyasachi referenced this heritage when creating her wedding attire for her marriage to Siddharth at Wanaparthy temple. The actress expressed hope that weavers would reclaim their historical legacy through continued recognition of the textile tradition.
