Devendra Fadnavis praises AI-powered Mahabharat series

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised the artificial intelligence production Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh by sharing a Bhagavad Gita verse on social media on Sunday. JioStar and Collective Media Network collaborated to create India’s first AI-powered premium entertainment series based on the Hindu epic. The show began streaming on JioHotstar and premiered on Star Plus on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Vijay Subramaniam, founder and group CEO of Collective Artists Network, said the project aims to give modern audiences an immersive experience similar to the classic television adaptation. The producers designed the series to blend traditional storytelling with advanced technology. The initial release features 100 episodes that retell the ancient tale of duty, betrayal and war through contemporary digital methods.
