Ahmedabad builds giant postcard tribute to Modi for world record
To mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, Ahmedabad’s Riverfront hosted a massive event during “Vikas Week,” drawing attention with a creative display. Over 75,000 postcards were arranged to form a large 75 lakh-shaped symbol of national pride and gratitude for Modi’s leadership.
The event was aimed at setting a Guinness World Record, with officials present to verify the record-breaking display of appreciation.
Mitesh Pandya, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, explained that the initiative allowed citizens impacted by government schemes to express thanks by sending postcards.
More than 11 million people in Gujarat have participated, sending handwritten messages that reflect the positive effects of government programs. The postcards continue to be collected throughout the week, with the Guinness team working on verifying the record.
