Akhomo Hasan wins Best Actor at Bioscope Star Award

Popular actor Akhomo Hasan was named Best Actor at the 13th Bioscope Star Award 2025 during a ceremony held on Tuesday at the Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium in Dhaka’s Shahbagh. The award was presented by former information secretary Syed Margub Morshed, actress Dilara Zaman, and playwright Rajib Moni Das, among others.

Akhomo Hasan expressed his gratitude, saying, “Everyone is human, but a person’s true identity is revealed through their work. It’s a blessing to be recognized for that work. I sincerely thank the organizing committee and everyone here for this honor.”

Prominent figures from the cultural and social sectors, including actor-director Shamim Zaman and dramatist Sakal Ahmed, were also present at the event.
