Alia Bhatt thanks ‘Jigra’ team after Filmfare win

Alia Bhatt recently shared her thoughts on winning the Best Actress award at the Filmfare Awards for her role in Jigra. Though she couldn’t attend the ceremony, she expressed how much the win meant to her, calling it “the one that will always stay closest to my heart.” On Instagram, she thanked the entire team behind the film, including director Vasan Bala and co-stars Vedang Raina, Vivek Gomber, and Manoj Pahwa, for their honesty and contribution to the story.

Alia also expressed gratitude to Filmfare for the honor and mentioned how her heart was full, despite missing the event. She acknowledged her real-life support, her sister Shaheen Bhatt, as her “calm through it all.” The post featured behind-the-scenes shots, including moments with Vedang Raina and Karan Johar, reflecting the bond shared on set.

The 70th Filmfare Awards took place on October 11 in Ahmedabad, where Alia’s win was celebrated, alongside shared Best Actor honors for Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan.
