Amitabh Bachchan mourns team member loss

Amitabh Bachchan mourned the death of Jaipur Pink Panthers assistant manager Vedant Devadiga, who passed away at 22. The actor wrote on his blog that the team deeply loved Devadiga and felt devastated by the loss. Despite offers to postpone their next match, the players decided to compete in his memory. One young team member wore Devadiga’s name on a headband as tribute.

The Jaipur Pink Panthers organization released a statement expressing sadness over the loss of a valued family member. They said his enthusiasm and commitment would be remembered. Bachchan praised the team’s determination to honor Devadiga through their performance.

The veteran actor will narrate the opening sequence of 120 Bahadur, a film about the 1962 India-China conflict starring Farhan Akhtar. Director Akhtar requested Bachchan’s participation on the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. The film depicts events from the Battle of Rezang La.
