Anubhav Sinha reflects on 14 years of Ra.One

Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha marked the 14th anniversary of his 2011 superhero drama Ra.One on Sunday by sharing behind-the-scenes photographs with star Shah Rukh Khan. The Red Chillies Entertainment production follows a video game villain who enters reality to hunt the player who nearly beat him. Khan played two roles, while Arjun Rampal portrayed the antagonist in the film, which also featured Kareena Kapoor.

Sinha wrote on social media that reviewing the images reminded him of how remarkable the production experience was. Earlier in October, the director of Thappad announced plans to tour and meet film enthusiasts. He aims to examine why audience expectations and industry output have diverged in recent years. Sinha noted that weekly releases have prompted constant speculation about which genres will succeed, creating an unprecedented divide between filmmakers and viewers.
