Salman Khan remembers Satish Shah’s king-size life

Salman Khan remembered late actor Satish Shah as someone who lived life to the fullest following Shah’s death on Saturday in Mumbai at age 74. Khan shared a photograph on X from their 1997 film Judwaa and wrote that he had known the veteran performer since age 15.

The funeral took place on Sunday at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle West, where members of the film industry gathered to pay their respects. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai cast members Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghvan, Rajesh Kumar, and Ratna Pathak Shah attended alongside Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, and director David Dhawan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Shah a true legend of Indian entertainment whose effortless humor brought laughter to countless lives. Shah appeared in notable films such as Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and Main Hoon Na throughout his career. Numerous Bollywood personalities expressed condolences through social media posts.
