Apple preps iOS 26.0.2 for iPhone bug fixes, security updates

Apple’s getting ready to roll out iOS 26.0.2 for iPhones, and while it won’t wow anyone with major features, it’s all about making things run smoother. The update will tackle lingering bugs, smooth out those annoying stutters, and iron out app crashes. Expect some security patches to fix any fresh vulnerabilities, too.

This one’s all about performance, especially for the iPhone 17 series, so if your phone’s been slow or glitchy, this should clear it up. No word yet on exactly when it’s dropping, but with Apple’s track record, it’s coming soon. Alongside it, also look out for macOS 26.0.2.
