Arjun Ram Meghwal slams West Bengal’s law and order after Durgapur gang-rape case
Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal criticized the law and order situation in West Bengal following the Durgapur gang-rape case. He stated that the state’s law enforcement had completely deteriorated, accusing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of suppressing such incidents due to her appeasement policies. He claimed that these policies allowed crimes to fade away, harming the state’s reputation. Meghwal also mentioned the recent attack on BJP MP Khagen Murmu by Trinamool Congress goons, highlighting the growing issues.
Regarding the upcoming Bihar elections, Meghwal expressed confidence that the NDA would return to power, emphasizing the focus on development and governance. The BJP recently released its first list of 71 candidates, which includes key leaders such as Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with former MPs Ram Kripal Yadav and Sunil Kumar Pintu.
