ASEAN Summit 2025 shuts down Klang Valley roads

Six big highways and 25 major roads in the Klang Valley will be rerouted for the 47th Asean Summit, which will happen from October 26 to 28. These include highways such as ELITE, NKVE, Guthrie, and MEX, along with roads like Lebuh KLIA and Jalan Bukit Bintang. Over 1,100 traffic officers will help keep traffic moving smoothly during the summit, from October 17 to 29. A rehearsal for motorcade routes will take place from October 18 to 24, covering important areas like KLIA and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

People should avoid these roads and use public transport like MRT or buses. Media, healthcare workers, and officials can use diverted routes with passes. However, no one can use the routes if a VIP convoy is coming.
