Bangladesh drops to 100th in global passport ranking

Bangladesh has dropped six places in the latest Henley Passport Index, now ranking 100th out of 106 countries. North Korea shares this position. In the previous index published in July, Bangladesh was ranked 94th. Other countries ranked below Bangladesh include Nepal, Somalia, Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. In South Asia, the Maldives holds the highest position at 56th. Singapore remains at the top globally with visa-free access to 193 destinations, while Bangladeshi passports allow visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 38 destinations.
