Fire ravages Rupnagar factory, 16 dead, 3 injured
Two people who were hurt in a fire at a factory and warehouse in Rupnagar were treated and released on Wednesday. Another person, Md Sohel, 32, remains in the hospital with an eye injury but is not in serious condition. Md Suruj, 30, and Md Mamun, 35, were treated for burns and inhalation injuries and were discharged after being stable. Sixteen bodies found in the building were sent to the morgue at Dhaka Medical College for DNA testing, and none have been given to families yet.
