Bangladesh, Thailand discuss judicial cooperation in Bangkok

Bangladesh’s Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed and Thailand’s Minister of Justice Rutthaphon Naowarat met in Bangkok on Wednesday to enhance judicial cooperation. During the meeting, the Chief Justice discussed Bangladesh’s judicial reform efforts, focusing on improving efficiency, capacity, and transparency through technology. The Thai Minister expressed interest in Bangladesh’s initiatives and shared Thailand’s experiences in judicial administration and modernization. Both sides emphasized knowledge exchange in judicial training, legal research, and institutional development. The meeting concluded with a commitment to strengthen future cooperation, marking a new chapter in judicial relations between the two countries. The Chief Justice will return on 18 October.
