Bangladesh, US discuss regional ties, disinformation risks

Bangladesh and the United States held talks on regional relations, elections, and the dangers of disinformation. Lutfey Siddiqi, the Chief Adviser’s Special Envoy, met US Special Envoy Sergio Gor at the White House on Wednesday, 15 October, to discuss these issues. This meeting followed a recent conversation between Ambassador Gor and Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus in New York.

Siddiqi thanked Gor for the warm welcome and appreciated their productive talks. They discussed trade, investment, and economic reforms, including labour market development. Siddiqi also invited Gor to visit Dhaka soon to further strengthen ties.
