Battlefield 6 devs nerf rifles, ban cheaters

Battlefield Studios has applied minor balance updates to Battlefield 6 without requiring a patch download. Changes include:

  • Rush mode ticket count increased from 75 to 100 on select maps
  • M2010 ESR muzzle velocity reduced from 900 to 800 m/s
  • PSR muzzle velocity lowered from 750 to 720 m/s
  • Shotgun projectiles now account for drag

These tweaks mark the start of ongoing live balance adjustments. Despite a strong launch and high player counts, developers continue to monitor feedback for further tuning.

Separately, permabans have begun for players using Cronus Zen cheat devices, following new enforcement efforts by Battlefield Studios, Sony, and Microsoft. Users of the device have been warned to stop until further notice to avoid bans.
