BJP accuses Tejashwi Yadav of sidelining Lalu in ticket row
The BJP accused RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav of a rift over Assembly ticket distribution, claiming that Tejashwi “humiliated” his father. Amit Malviya, BJP’s IT chief, mocked the family’s inability to manage its own affairs, saying, “Forget the grand alliance, even the family isn’t being managed.”
Malviya compared Tejashwi to Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, suggesting both sons sidelined their fathers in party matters. He also accused Tejashwi of marginalizing his elder brother, Tej Pratap Yadav, who was expelled from the party and has had disputes with the family.
Tej Pratap Yadav, meanwhile, launched his party, Jantantrik Janata Dal (JJD), revealing 21 candidates ahead of the RJD’s list. He will contest from Mahua in Vaishali and vowed to transform Bihar, focusing on social justice and rights.
