Dia Mirza celebrates launch of sustainable plastic recycling plant in Pune

Dia Mirza celebrated a milestone in sustainable innovation on social media, sharing her support for the startup Without® and its pioneering recycling efforts. The company turns up to five tons of unrecyclable plastic waste into high-quality materials each month, while improving the lives of waste workers by offering higher wages, health benefits, and dignity. Dia called it “inclusive innovation” that goes beyond technology.

She shared her excitement about the launch of the FOAK Demonstration Plant in Pune, which is backed by $1.9 million in seed funding. As a strategic advisor and investor, Dia expressed pride in joining the initiative to make India a global leader in circular solutions.

Dia often advocates for environmental conservation, and recently appeared in Netflix’s Nadaaniyan, playing the role of Nandini, the mother of Ibrahim Ali Khan’s character.
