BJP slams Rahul Gandhi for vacationing abroad ahead of Bihar elections
The BJP on Saturday slammed Rahul Gandhi for “vacationing” abroad, mocking the “missing” leader for his absence ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections next month. Amit Malviya, head of the BJP’s National Information and Technology Department, posted on X, urging Gandhi to return from his trip to Colombia as polling in Bihar begins in less than a month.
Malviya expressed confidence in a big win for the BJP-led NDA in the Nov. 6 and 11 elections, predicting another loss for the Mahagathbandhan. He said Congress would once again blame everyone but their absent leader.
Malviya also criticized Gandhi’s recent comments abroad, accusing him of undermining India’s global ambitions and projecting a negative image. He called Gandhi’s remarks on India not wanting to lead the world a reflection of a mindset that had “cost India dearly.”
