BNP’s Zahid Hossain assures public over July Charter’s implementation
BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain reassured the public on Friday that there is no reason to worry about the implementation of the July Charter, as the state has taken responsibility for it. He mentioned that people are eager to know more about the Charter and its signing ceremony.
Speaking at BNP founder Ziaur Rahman’s grave, Zahid said that when the state takes charge of implementing a decision, there should be no doubts about its future execution. He also noted that despite the absence of parliament, several presidential orders are being issued, which will need ratification by the next parliament.
Zahid commented on the NCP’s decision not to sign the Charter, explaining that they may join future discussions. He also mentioned that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s condition is improving, and she will return home after her tests are completed.
