Brazil to face Senegal, Tunisia in World Cup prep

Brazil will conclude their 2025 calendar with two friendly matches in Europe next month as part of their preparation for the 2026 World Cup. The team, led by Carlo Ancelotti, will face Senegal on November 15 at Emirates Stadium in London and Tunisia three days later in Lille, France.

These matches are aimed at giving Brazil valuable experience against African teams before the World Cup in North America. After the South American qualifiers, these games follow Brazil’s October matches against Asian sides, which saw a 5-0 win over South Korea and a surprising loss to Japan.

Ancelotti’s plan for the team involves exposure to various playing styles, and in March 2026, Brazil will likely face top European teams. The CBF plans to use the upcoming friendlies to make final observations on players and tactics before locking in their starting lineup and strengthening their connection with Brazilian fans.

Senegal, with stars like Sadio Mane and Kalidou Koulibaly, shocked Brazil with a 4-2 win in their last encounter two years ago. Tunisia, known for its strong defense, qualified for the 2026 World Cup in September.
