Cameron Green ruled out of India ODI series

Cameron Green, Australia’s all-rounder, has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against India due to side soreness. Marnus Labuschagne will replace him for the three ODIs on October 19, 23, and 25. Green’s injury is considered low grade, and Cricket Australia is taking a cautious approach, as he is important for the Ashes.

Green will return for the Sheffield Shield match starting October 28 after a short rehabilitation. Labuschagne is in strong form, having scored two centuries in the 50-over format for Queensland. This is Australia’s third change for the series, with Josh Philippe and Matthew Kuhnemann also stepping in for injured or unavailable players.
