Kritika Kamra calls for honesty in storytelling

Actress Kritika Kamra is excited about her upcoming film with director Anusha Rizvi, set in Delhi. The story focuses on an ordinary family dealing with generational gaps, belonging, and sisterhood. Kritika believes that stories don’t always need big twists to be moving; sometimes, honesty is enough.

She thinks Hindi films are best when they reflect everyday life, family bonds, and humor in the small moments. Kritika feels this film will remind people of how cinema used to make them feel understood and connected.

In addition, she stars in Matka King, a series set in 1960s Mumbai, about a cotton trader who introduces a new gambling game, shaking up the city.
