China triumphed over defending champions Indonesia 2-0 in the final of the BWF World Junior Championships 2025 to claim the Suhandinata Cup for the 15th time. With a team featuring three reigning Asian Junior individual gold medallists, China maintained their dominance, winning 45-30, 45-44 in just over two hours. In the opening set, China secured a 9-8 win, followed by sweeping all subsequent matches. The second set saw a tight battle, with China recovering from a 5-9 deficit to take control. Liu Si Ya and Liu Yang Ming Yu delivered key victories, and despite Indonesia’s late surge, China held their composure to close out the match. India and Japan claimed bronze.
