Chiwenga’s leaked dossier accuses Mnangagwa allies of $3.2B corruption scheme
A confidential report by Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, presented to Zanu PF’s Politburo on September 17, has been leaked. The dossier accuses President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s allies of large-scale corruption, warning that current conditions mirror those that led to the 2017 coup against Robert Mugabe. Chiwenga names several individuals, including businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei and others, claiming they siphoned off billions from the state.
Chiwenga, criticizing Mnangagwa’s 2030 agenda to extend his term, calls for the arrest of those involved in corruption. He demands immediate action, saying the time for silence has passed. The leak marks a significant escalation in the ongoing power struggle within the party.
