Chiwenga exposes $3.2B corruption plot by Mnangagwa’s allies in leaked dossier

A leaked report by Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, presented to Zanu-PF’s Politburo on September 17, reveals serious corruption claims involving businessmen close to President Emmerson Mnangagwa. The document names Kudakwashe Tagwirei, Wicknell Chivhayo, Delish Nguwaya, and Pedzisayi “Scott” Sakupwanya, accusing them of stealing over US$3.2 billion from Zimbabwe’s state funds. Chiwenga warns that the current situation mirrors the 2017 coup that ousted Robert Mugabe.

He criticizes Mnangagwa’s push to extend his rule, calling it driven by the same corrupt figures. Chiwenga demands their arrest, stating that the time for silence is over. This leak intensifies the power struggle within Zanu-PF, with Chiwenga emerging as a challenger to Mnangagwa.
