Chunky Panday shares heartfelt tribute to Satish Shah
Chunky Panday honored Satish Shah on Saturday by sharing photographs from their collaborations spanning three decades. The actor recalled his transformation from admirer of Shah’s work in Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi to colleague in Teesra Kaun and subsequent projects.
Shah died at age 74 from kidney failure after emergency transport to Hinduja Hospital in Shivaji Park. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit confirmed medical personnel could not revive the performer following his collapse at home. The body was transferred to Shah’s Bandra residence ahead of funeral arrangements.
Panday posted images showing the pair together between film shoots and promotional appearances. Shah earned recognition for performances in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om across his career. Pandit described the loss as significant for the entertainment sector and referenced their extensive professional history.
