Court orders 262, including Sheikh Hasina, to appear over anti-state plot
A court told authorities to put notices in the papers, ordering 262 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, to show up. The case is about trying to overthrow the interim government and doing anti-state stuff. The court gave a date—November 11—for the missing suspects to appear.
The case also includes names like Dr Rabbi Alam, Kabirul Islam, and others. The police had already asked the court to summon 24 arrested suspects, and now they’re after the rest. The case says a group called “Joy Bangla Brigade” held a Zoom meeting on December 19, 2024, vowing to bring Hasina back as PM, even if it means starting a civil war.
