CZR backs Mnangagwa, praises economic reforms ahead of ZANU PF conference

The Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers (CZR) has expressed full support for President Emmerson Mnangagwa, praising his administration’s achievements in economic stabilization, infrastructure development, and regional diplomacy. Ahead of ZANU-PF’s Annual National People’s Conference in Mutare, CZR president Denford Mutashu reaffirmed the business community’s backing for Mnangagwa, urging delegates to prioritize peace, stability, and continuity.

Mutashu highlighted the government’s reforms, including improvements in the ease of doing business, major infrastructure projects like the Harare–Beitbridge Highway, and advancements in agriculture and mining. He also praised the introduction of the Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG) currency and the President’s diplomatic achievements, including assuming the SADC chairmanship. Mutashu emphasized that peace is essential for progress and prosperity, and the CZR remains committed to supporting the government’s economic vision for a prosperous Zimbabwe.
