Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh pushes for Aatmanirbharta in air power policy

The Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh spoke on Friday about making India’s industries stronger by balancing work between public and private groups. He gave his speech at a meeting in New Delhi on October 17, 2025, about making new technologies for air power. He said having many businesses will stop one group from controlling everything, make it easier to do business, and help new ideas grow.

The Defence Secretary also talked about the need to develop new flying machines, better tests, and long-range missiles to improve India’s air strength. People at the event discussed new ways to use drones, better sensors, and smart technology to improve air operations.
