Dubrovnik Airport celebrates record 3 million passengers
The southern Croatian gateway surpassed its three million traveler threshold for the first time after an Austrian Airlines aircraft delivered passenger Kerstin Gams from Vienna. The airport director credited workforce commitment and partnerships across government agencies, carriers and hospitality providers for the milestone achievement.
Ruder Boskovic Airport maintains winter service to Dublin, Manchester, Madrid, London and Zurich throughout November while adding connections to Rome, Frankfurt and Vienna. The facility retained its previous cold-weather links to Brussels, Warsaw and the Austrian capital under current schedules that began on Sunday. Director Viktor Sober said the terminal offers more European and global connections than at any previous point in operations.
Passenger volumes and flight activity climbed steadily through 2025, with May through September producing exceptional performance during the Adriatic nation’s primary beach season. The expanded route network extends beyond traditional summer operations when coastal destinations typically see diminished air traffic and reduced tourism activity along the Dalmatian shoreline.
