Elder Scrolls Online wall war erupts
ZeniMax Online has launched The Elder Scrolls Online’s Battle for the Writhing Wall event across all platforms at once, a rare move since console updates usually trail PC and Mac. This event drives the Seasons of the Worm Cult storyline forward, letting players finally confront the soul-forged barrier blocking access to Eastern Solstice. The event unfolds in three stages, with all players able to contribute, though only 2025 Content Pass owners can accept quests in Solstice.
Phase one focuses on gathering supplies and defending siege camps. The Worm Cult spreads across Tamriel, seizing delves and dungeons marked on the map. In phase two, the assault begins, siege activity rises, and the Daedra Ghishzor appears as a world boss. Phase three opens the Writhing Fortress, a one-week timed instance for Content Pass holders only.
Server progress is separate, with Xbox Europe and PlayStation Europe slightly ahead. Progress can be tracked on the game’s official website.
