Fahamedul Islam to miss India clash after yellow card suspension

Bangladesh winger Fahamedul Islam will miss the AFC Asian Cup Qualifier against India on November 18 due to an automatic one-match suspension for two yellow cards. He received his first yellow card in his debut match against Singapore and another in the away game against Hong Kong. Bangladesh players have accumulated nine yellow cards in four qualifying matches. With Fahamedul suspended, he is unlikely to join the preliminary squad for training in late October, but head coach Javier Cabrera will make the final decision on squad selection.
