Fake Deepika post stirs Spirit buzz

A fake social media account impersonating actress Deepika Padukone posted false reactions to the Spirit audio teaser after director Sandeep Reddy Vanga released it in five languages. The fraudulent profile claimed Padukone felt sad but praised the preview for the film starring Prabhas. Troll accounts attempted to exploit publicity around the project by spreading misinformation online.

Padukone was originally cast but later replaced by Triptii Dimri in the production. Reports suggest her departure stemmed from extensive requirements that reportedly discouraged the filmmaker, though no official explanation has been confirmed. The demands allegedly covered restricted work schedules, substantial compensation and profit participation.

Vanga shared the teaser on Prabhas’ birthday through social media in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions. The audio clip presents a conversation between a jailer and an assistant about how to handle a former police officer in custody. The preview confirms the cast includes Dimri, Kanchana, Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi alongside Prabhas in central roles.
