Fans flood Mannat for Shah Rukh’s birthday despite renovations

Thousands of admirers assembled outside Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai home on Saturday night, maintaining an annual ritual to celebrate the Bollywood star’s 60th birthday. Supporters wearing clothing featuring the actor’s image and carrying signs arrived at Mannat in Bandstand hours before midnight, chanting birthday wishes despite knowing Khan has moved temporarily to another location during home repairs.

The residence underwent renovation work in recent weeks, prompting Khan to relocate to a property belonging to producer Vashu Bhagnani. When followers mentioned their plans to visit Mannat through social media, the performer joked they should bring protective headgear due to construction activity. Workers at the site have been spotted wearing safety helmets.

Filmmaker Karan Johar and choreographer Farah Khan traveled to Alibaug for private celebrations. Director Siddharth Anand hinted through social media posts that the first preview of Khan’s upcoming thriller King might debut around the birthday. The project will feature Khan’s daughter Suhana in her first substantial film role, generating additional interest among fans who responded to cryptic messages about there being only one King.
