FCB backs tobacco farmers with Kupha Makwacha promotion

First Capital Bank (FCB) has reaffirmed its support for Malawi’s tobacco farmers, acknowledging their crucial role in the nation’s economy. During the FCB Kupha Makwacha Promotion draw in Blantyre, Marketing Manager Pachalo Stanley Chiyora emphasized the Bank’s dedication to empowering farmers.

Chiyora explained that the promotion, which ran from May to August, was aimed at motivating tobacco farmers who bank with FCB. The initiative sought to enhance their productivity and livelihoods while giving back to them as valued customers.

The grand prize winner, Timverane Club, received a new motorcycle, while 96 other farmers won prizes such as bicycles, maize, cash, and branded T-shirts. Chiyora expressed the Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting farmers and strengthening its partnership with them.
