Fire in Haskovo factory caused by forgotten grill, no injuries reported

A fire ignited in a production hall located in the eastern industrial zone of Haskovo. Preliminary information from workers indicated the blaze originated from a forgotten kebab grill, which then spread to a wooden shed and a machinery room.

Authorities from the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior confirmed the cause was an electrical appliance. All employees on shift evacuated the building safely, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters from Haskovo and Dimitrovgrad, utilizing four fire engines, contained the fire and prevented it from spreading to adjacent properties. Damage assessment for the machine-filled workshop is pending until the heavy smoke inside clears.
