Francis Atwoli backs Ruto for 10 more years in office
COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has expressed confidence that President William Ruto will serve Kenya for 10 years. Atwoli praised the Kenya Kwanza administration for its progress under Ruto’s leadership, acknowledging the president’s hard work. Speaking at a thanksgiving event in Tana River County, Atwoli assured the crowd that by 10 a.m. in 2027, Ruto would still be in office.
Atwoli also addressed the opposition, suggesting that some leaders prioritize personal interests over offering solutions. He described Raila Odinga as the most consistent opposition voice, commending his support for a broad-based government. Atwoli welcomed Kanu’s decision to cooperate with the government, following Gideon Moi’s announcement that he would not seek an elective position.
