Gautam Gambhir birthday bash as India crush West Indies

Gautam Gambhir turned 44, and people from cricket sent him birthday wishes. India also swept the Test series against the West Indies at Arun Jaitley Stadium, where a stand carries Gambhir’s name. Gambhir played as an opener for India from 2003 to 2016 and partnered well with Virender Sehwag.

He was the second top run-maker for India in the 2011 World Cup with 393 runs in nine games and scored 97 runs in the final against Sri Lanka. Gambhir has made 10,324 runs in 242 international matches, hitting 20 centuries and 63 fifties. As Kolkata Knight Riders captain, he won the IPL twice and made 4,217 runs in 154 games.
