Google bets $15B on AI hub in Visakhapatnam
Google is setting up a big AI center in Visakhapatnam. The move fits with India’s plan to grow stronger by 2047. Ashwini Vaishnaw said the project will help both India and the U.S. grow jobs and tech skills. He thanked the Prime Minister for pushing tech in everyday life.
The update came at an AI event held in Delhi. Vaishnaw said young people will learn new AI skills thanks to this hub. He also asked companies to train IT workers better. Google plans to build strong tech systems at the site.
The company will spend about $15 billion over five years. This is its biggest project in India yet. A report said this hub may add $15 billion to the U.S. economy. It will use more cloud tools and tech talent from both countries.
