Government approves changes to budget, state reserves, and laws
Bulgaria’s cabinet will distribute personal protective equipment from state reserves to residents in 56 municipalities during its regular session. Ministers will also approve budget modifications for the Ministry of Innovation and Growth to accommodate increased state investment in Sofia Tech Park, while the Ministry of Economy and Industry will see adjustments tied to higher capitalization of the State Consolidation Company and Vazovskite mashinostroitelnye zavodi.
Municipal authorities will receive additional funding to compensate kindergarten and school directors for performance bonuses from the previous academic year, with allocations also covering student scholarships. The government will consider amendments to chemical safety legislation and update administrative fee regulations across multiple agencies to reflect the nation’s adoption of the euro as its currency from January onward.
