Rumen Radev honors Bulgaria’s Land Forces on Battle Day
Bulgarian President Rumen Radev will attend commemorations marking the Land Forces’ Battle Day at the Pantheon of those who died in the Serbian-Bulgarian War near Gurgulyat village. The ceremonies honor two military milestones: the 147th anniversary of establishing the Bulgarian Land Forces and the 140th anniversary of the army’s triumph at Slivnitsa.
Radev will review a guard of honor, deliver remarks, and lay tributes to soldiers who perished during the 1885 conflict with Serbia. The president will also view a photo exhibition titled In the Service of the People and the Homeland, along with a display of military equipment and weaponry.
