Harishankar Narayanan joins ‘Kattalan’ film unit

Cube Entertainments announced that actor and sports analyst Harishankar Narayanan had joined the cast of Kattalan, a pan-Indian Malayalam action thriller starring Antony Varghese. The production company noted Narayanan appeared in Retro and the web series Label before signing for this project. Producer Shareef Muhammed confirmed the Thailand schedule wrapped after beginning on Oct. 1.

Lead actor Varghese sustained injuries while filming elephant stunts choreographed by Kecha Khamphakdee, who directed action sequences for the Ong-Bak franchise. Paul George directs the film featuring Rajisha Vijayan, Baby Jean, Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Jagadeesh and Siddique. Writers Paul George, Joby Varghese, and Jero Jacob crafted the screenplay, while Ajaneesh Loknath composed the score, and Renadive handled cinematography.
