Hindu Sena demands sealing of disputed Ajmer Dargah area to protect evidence

The dispute over the Ajmer Dargah and Sankat Mochan Mahadev Temple took a new turn on Wednesday when Vishnu Gupta, National President of Hindu Sena, filed a fresh petition in Ajmer Civil Court. He demanded the sealing of the disputed area within the Dargah complex where a temple is claimed to have existed and requested the installation of CCTV cameras to protect alleged evidence.

Gupta accused the Ajmer Dargah Committee of attempting to damage religious symbols and artefacts under the guise of renovation. He urged the court to protect the section of the site with a picture of Lord Shiva and a Shivalinga, claiming these could serve as evidence of the Sankat Mochan Mahadev Temple’s existence.

The next hearing is set for October 17, 2025.
