Ibrahim Zadran fined for equipment abuse in ODI

Afghanistan player Ibrahim Zadran was fined 15% of his match fee for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the third ODI against Bangladesh in Abu Dhabi. He was found guilty of violating Article 2.2, which relates to the abuse of cricket equipment. Ibrahim also received one demerit point, his first offence in 24 months. The incident occurred when Ibrahim, after being dismissed, hit some equipment with his bat near the dressing room. He admitted the offence and accepted the sanction, avoiding a formal hearing.
